It is time for a grand event. It is Shani Jayanti on May 30, 2022. The event marks the birth of planet Saturn and is celebrated on the Amavasya tithi (new moon date) of the Vaishakha month of the Hindu calendar.
Gemstoneuniverse is organising a splendid Shani Homa to mark the event. The Pooja conducted on this auspicious day brings blessings of the all-powerful Lord Saturn and much relief from the issues one faces, on account of the karmically challenging phases. This applies in a big way to those –
- Undergoing the Sade sati of Shani - Saturn’s 7.5 year cycle (Currently this would apply in a big way to individuals having the moon sign of Sagittarius/ Dhanu; Capricorn/Makar; Aquarius/Kumbha and Pisces/ Meen, the last one coming under this influence freshly.
- Undergoing the Kantaka shani or 4th transit of Saturn – individuals having the Moon Sign of Libra/ Tula and Scorpio/ Vrishchika
- Undergoing the 8th transit or Ashtama Shani phase – individuals with Moon Sign of Gemini/ mithuna and Cancer/ Kark
- Individuals born under the Dhanishtha Nakshatra
- Individuals undergoing a challenging Saturn major planetary period.
Saturn is currently transiting over the Dhanishtha nakshatra / Kumbha Rashi.

Ganapati Pooja: We start the proceedings with Ganesh Homa. Lord Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and by invoking his blessings we pray that all proceedings go uninterrupted. Lord Ganesha will also help us in the final objective of Shani Shanti. This Pooja will also include Punyaha and Kalasha Sthapana.

Ganapati Pooja, Kalasharadhana Abhisheka, Shodasupchara Pooja, Agni Parathisthan,
Shanishwara Pooja and Mantra Japa and Yagya
2300 Shaniswara Aaahuti will be done in the main Shani Homa
Kheera Tharpanaya, Maha Poorna Aaahuti, Maha Mangalarati, Kalasha Visarjana & Marjana Aashirvad, Theertha Prasadam Viniyoga, Kalasha Vasthra Sahitha, Dasha Dahana, Sambhavane Pala, Sweekarna, AnnaSantarpana (giving food for brahmins)
There will also be a Cow donation and Buffalo donation is also being done on this auspicious day.
Food will be given to Brahmins, and also to differently abled people/children’s
Note:- The Final day program timings will be from 9:30 hrs to 14:30 hrs IST and will be performed at Sangam in Srirangapatna.

1. Individuals who wish to have special Pooja conducted in their name can send their participation request by donating INR 11,000/- (patrons residing in India) and USD ($) 180/- (patrons residing abroad). There will be special Nama Archana Pooja for Lord Saturn for these individuals daily in addition to their names taken during the Sankalpa for the Main Shani Homa. These individuals will be sent the following sacred articles which will be energized during the various Yagyas and poojas upon the completion of the event, a 2-dimensional Shani yantra, a 7 faced Rudraksha bead, a horse shoe iron ring and Vibhuti / holy ash from the homa. All of which you can keep in your altar / Pooja sthaan at your home.
The Individuals should send their name and birth star for this purpose. Those individuals who are not aware of their birth star should send the following data:

1) Saturn Iron Ring:
Saturn Iron Ring, Out of the many vehicles of Lord Saturn, is a black horse. This ring is made from the horse shoe of a black horse and gives protection against enemies, jealousy, animosity and accidents. This will also be very useful for individuals who are facing tough conditions at the professional level and those who have a debt problem.
2) Consecrated and Energized Shani Yantra:
The consecrated and energized Shani Yantra, will bring in peace, prosperity and removal of fear and anxiety. Individuals should keep this sacred talisman in their pooja place, altar, and place of worship and should take blessings of this great talisman daily.
3) 7 Faced Rudraksha Bead:
7 Faced Rudraksha Bead, One of the most powerful Rudraksha Beads representing the powers of Lord Saturn and the seven divine Snakes. This Rudraksha will improve health, remove lethargy, give focus to a wavering mind and also improve the inflow of wealth.
4) Vibhuti or Bhasma:
Vibhuti or Bhasma, is sacred ash collected after all the three Homa are completed. It is the powder of all sacred herbs consecrated and energized. One can apply Vibhuti on the forehead for protection and Blessings.
