Give Pride- The 9 Developed Virtues of a Supremely Conscious Man
I know a man- a good man- a man who looks successful on the outside.
What do I mean. He has done something very path breaking on the National Level.
He gets to meet the PM, CM's the so called corporate honchos on a daily basis ( I have omitted the word- Almost) and He is in all major media daily( again the word almost has been omitted).
So an important man at least in the Worldly View.
He sends me these images and press clippings daily and I NEVER see them or reply back.
Yes, That's true.
Why
Because these are NOT relevant to me at all.
But when he met me sometime back He asked with a sense of pride regarding his dream project and splendid achievement and when I spoke to him for 5 mins on that he was quiet for sometime, Then Got up, Touched my feet and said- A Lot has to be done. Thanks for
the direction and showing me the expanse of the horizon.
His journey to prove himself through these external validations and pictures to something that is game changing on an epic level started. Thanks God for that- Some people are still amenable to reason and plain common sense.
Moving on: What do you think ( think) of the word/ emotion- PRIDE.
You know something- Everyone will have a different version of this word. But Let me
set the context by illustrating it in just 2 sentences.
Sentence One
His parents were proud to see him receive the Gold Medal during the Graduation ceremony.
Sentence Two
He was too adamant to swallow his pride to apply for a free meal.
