Today is Darsh Amavasya so many auspicious Greetings for the same. Now, Before I go ahead and describe the significance of this day- I will give the 3 most meaningful points
Today is a great day to perform sacred rites to please all the ancestors one has ever had.
You can progress at the speed of light as Jupiter is in Taurus and Moon in Gemini. There is Dhurv Yoga along with ardra Nakshtra- 5th July 2024.
Today if you can feed or do service to any of these animals( as per your horoscope and especially the moon position)- You will get a lot of punya.

Ancestors are not just a distant memory or a forgotten past, they are the roots that connect us to our heritage and culture.
They are the guiding spirits that watch over us, protect us, and bless us with their wisdom and love.
In ancient texts like the Agni Purana and Vishnu Purana, we learn about the Barhiṣads, a class of Manus who are said to have derived from the divine creator Brahmā.
These Barhiṣads, who are members of the council of the God of death, perform sacred rites for the dead and hold the knowledge of Satvatadharma.
The lineage of Barhiṣads can be traced back to the great Maharishi Atri, who is said to be the father of all beings like Daityas, Dānavas, Yakṣas, Gandharvas, and more.
These divine beings, known as Pitru Devatas, are divided into various groups like Agnishvattas, Somashadas, and Barhishadas, each representing a different category of beings.
Among these Pitru Devatas, there is a special group called the Chirapitrus, who hold significant importance in the spiritual realm. They are the ones who guide and protect us in our journey through life.
The Greatest Mother who missed the Love of Her Father- The Real story of Darsha Amavasya:
Once upon a time there lived Achhoda, the Manasa Puthrika, the mind-born daughter of the Pithru Devathas.
She was a Bahirshada- The class of Pitrus- Ancestors who consume the Som Rasa- the nectar of Life while being seated on Darbha- A asana/ seat made of Kusha Grass
She was known for her great devotion and respect towards her divine ancestors.
One day, feeling a deep connection to her lineage, Achhoda embarked on a great penance to seek the blessings of the Pithru Devathas.
Moved by her sincere prayers, the Pithru Devathas appeared before Achhoda to grant her a boon.
However, as fate would have it, Achhoda's heart was captivated by Maavasa, one of the Pithru Devathas.
This unexpected attraction led to Achhoda being playfully named Maavasya, which later transformed into Amaavasya.
Despite losing her divine status, Achhoda's story was far from over.
In a gesture of sympathy and admiration for her dedication, the Pithru Devathas bestowed upon Achhoda a special boon.
They declared that she would be celebrated as Amaavaasya Thithi, a favorite day for the ancestors.
It was believed that anyone who performed Pithru Kaarya on Amaavaasya day would receive abundant blessings and favor from the Pithru Devathas.
And so, in a divine twist of fate, Achhoda was reborn on Earth during the 28th Dwaapara Yuga, nurtured by a humble fisherman named Vasu.
Known as Mastya Gandha and later as Sathyavathi, she went on to give birth to the great sage Lord Vedavyaasa after a divine encounter with Sage Paraasara.
Her journey continued as she married King Shanthanu, becoming a pivotal figure in the epic Mahabharatha.
Achhoda's tale reminds us of the power of devotion, resilience, and the boundless blessings that come from honoring our ancestors. Let her story inspire us to cherish our roots, embrace our heritage, and seek the divine guidance of those who came before us.
The legend of Acchoda, the Mind born daughter of Pitru Devatas, teaches us the importance of devotion and respect towards our ancestors. It is believed that performing Pithru Kaarya on Amavasya day pleases the ancestors and brings blessings and abundance to our lives.
As we honor and remember our ancestors, let us reflect on the teachings and values they have passed down to us. Let us carry their legacy forward with pride and gratitude.
So My Dear- The Darsha Amavasya is the night Dedicated to Acchoda who had supreme love for her Father and Later became the Mother of Sage Ved Vyasa- The Greatest sage who wrote the Mahabharatha and now you must ponder and ponder hard

Who gave the boon and the secret Mantra Ritual to Kunti- to have a child at will with Devtas- The God’s themselves.
The Pandavs are the Sons of Kunti on whose command Draupadi became the wife of 5.
Special Mention and importance:
Today is a great day to offer sacrifices to all pitrus- Ancestors- Whether you know them or not. Also today is a great day to perform Dristhi Dosha Nivaran Pooja to remove all negative effects of evil eye, hexing, black magic etc. Especially offer Darbha Grass and You shall be pleasantly surprised.
The Father shows the Mirror and Shadows to the mother to become the Daughter- Yet Again.
I will not explain this much but Darsh Amavasya is the most important day for a daugher who has missed the love and protection of her Father- It was because of this Acchoda came to This Loka- earth from
the heavens.
This applies to all cases including those of absent father or sudden death of Father.
God gives her the blessing of supreme father is she is fortunate and if she hears the legend of Maa Acchoda.
The Ancestors are your first line of defence and the first ones to be prayed to so give them respect and sacrifices this day- even if you don’t know them.
