At the resting place - Mazar- E- Ghalib at the Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah.
Ghalib placed a greater emphasis on seeking of God rather than ritualistic religious practices. Ghalib states:
ہے پرے سرحد ادراک سے اپنا مسجود
قبلے کو اہل نظر قبلہ نما کہتے ہیں
The object of my worship lies beyond perception's reach;
For men who see, the qibla is a compass, nothing more.
Even though his Persian Divan( Body of work) is 5 times larger than the Urdu Divan, His work in Urdu got him much acclaim.
During the anti-British Rebellion in Delhi on 5 October 1857, three weeks after the British troops had entered through Kashmiri Gate, some soldiers climbed into Ghalib's neighbourhood and hauled him off to Colonel Brown (Urdu: کمانڈنگ آفیسر کرنل براؤن, romanized: Kamānḍing Āfīsar Karnal Brāūn) for questioning. He appeared in front of the colonel wearing a Central Asian Turkic style headdress. The colonel, bemused at his appearance, inquired in broken Urdu, "Well? You Muslim?", to which Ghalib replied sardonically, "Half?" The colonel asked, "What does that mean?" In response, Ghalib said, "I drink wine, but I don't eat pork."
That being said as I got the kothi opened in pitch dark of the night with no one around except some friendly bats a thought crossed my mind which sums up the energy of the day:
Kya farz hai ke sab ko milé ek sā jawāb
Aao na hum bhi sair karén koh-i tuur ki
Why should it be a given that everyone should receive the same answer

Koh-i Tuur is Mt. Sinai, well known to those familiar with Biblical and Islamic mythologies. The story the she’r refers to is part of every child’s upbringing in a Muslim household, “liberal” or “orthodox”, and relates to prophet Moses, incidentally mentioned most times in the Quran, seeking on one occasion Allah’s appearance before him so he could assure the people of his own legitimacy as a prophet. Allah is furious at the suggestion and a lightning strikes down both the Mount and Moses. This was Allah’s jawāb to him as recorded in the Quran.
The universally accepted meaning the story conveys is: Never be so audacious before Allah to seek what is impossible; the message delivered to Moses is one for all humanity.
His body of soul stirring work is huge but I will leave you with sound energy that will help you heal and live this day.
