Exactly 12 years ago, the then High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Thailand, during the post Gem and Jewelry show VIP and diplomatic after party, approached me.
He expressed that Guruji, the way you explain Sri Lanka and its gems and their powers makes our people feel that you are the best ambassador for our country.
He remarked that I was even better than some of the most accomplished individuals and intellectuals from Sri Lanka.
He mentioned my article on Ratnapura, the Isle of Gems, which has captured not just the imagination of Sri Lankans but also people worldwide and said your eyes have witnessed those gems and their powers that only people with a God Like access could have and you own the most exquisite gems.
