Today is the Birth Anniversary of Shabari Mata. She was the devoted old lady who tasted each berry, threw out the sour ones & kept the sweetest ones to be offered to her Lord- Sri Ram.
What is paramount here Devotion-No. Love- No.
Two things happened around this event. First Lord Ram gave a sterling discourse that I will summarise and 2nd a powerful thought process and a tool for personal change that I will share.
Sri Ram showers the power of Nava Vidha Bhakthi- the 9 fold devotion to pure love.
( Those of you who have not watched humans of Gemstoneuniverse and the power of 9 should definitely do that)
-Satsang: Association with other people filled with divine love & knowledge
-Shravan: Listening to my stories that are like a nectar of love
-Guru Seva: Being in the service of a True Guru
-Kirtan- Communal Chorus of my name or songs
-Japa- Chanting of my Name with feeling
-Bhajan-Singing of my name and my leelas
-Dharma Palan-Following the scriptures and procedures laid down by saints.
-Santosh: To have contentment and be happy with what you have.
-Aatma Samarpan-Complete surrender to me as you are without any ifs , buts, prejudices or complexes is the highest form of Bhakti.
These 9 Keys will help you live a beautiful life but like I said there is more and that is my part and duty for today.
So the question for you given the relevance of today is:
Am I afraid to be seen as I am?
The Universe wants to accept and hug you as you are. It does not want you to hold back any longer. It is time to show your unique light, beauty and expression to the world- Such a wonderful being you are.
You were made from love, you are love so why pick up the dimes instead of Dollars.
No more hiding, No More Shame, No More Half Truths. You are the best the way you are and it does'nt matter to those who really love you. Drop the veil.
Soul activity Action:
Write down what parts of yourself you hide so that you look in control and are socially accepted. Are you allowing yourself to be yourself. What do you actually need to feel safe and loved?
Remember Shabari Did not Hesitate in tasting the berries before offering them to the lord- Drop the same.
