Saturn is a stern and hard planet, and in general Saturn periods are accompanied by delay, obstacles and disappointments.
More than anything else, I think Saturn periods, specially in their initial phases seem to cause considerable turmoil because of two reasons:
When the speed or the general pace of life or the time for expected outcomes gets extended by 30%, that means a major mindbody shift and recalibration of approach to life and problems.
This resetting causes major problem as the mind is resistant to change.
The second issue is also sluggishness of metabolism and accompaniment of a feeling of malaise.
One of the best and the most effective remedies of Saturn that gives tangible outcomes is the donation of sesame oil.
Please note that the preferred oil is black sesame oil followed by mustard oil..

While pouring the oil into the lamp one should chant the 10 divine names of Lord Shani/Saturn.

After you have donated the oil as per the guidelines in the video please go ahead and go to your home or do other tasks but do not look back while exiting the temple.
Please try as much as possible to avoid using a metal vessel, specially iron while making the oil donation
If by any chance, there is some residual oil on your fingers rub that discreetly into your hair and go home and take bath
Once a month oil bath with black sesame seed oil- that is apply oil to your body and then take a bath is also a very good way to pacify Lord Saturn beside having health and relaxation benefits
