At the Very Outset Many Thanks to Indian Express for having me at the top of the list of Iconic Leaders of 2023.
Though a very Humbling moment I saw the time when this news came out and was shared with me at 12:01 Local time in the Time Zone in which I was traversing- Not really.
I am a very big fan of nayi sukhi Siyahi (Newly dried INK- on a piece of Fresh News Paper)- Unfortunately I do not have access to properly printed physical Indian Express Anymore- Though I would love too.
Shri Ram Nath Ji Goenka- The fierce follower and publisher of Truth and named rightly as the Top 100 people who shaped India started Indian Express in a tumultuous time and was known for The Journalism of Courage.
I was a very big fan of Indian Express and of many Lessons I remembered the WOULD and WOULD'NT approach to Management and Life as I addressed a group of highly trained combat fighter pilots of the latest combat Helicopter Series who wanted a SAMOSA Party at this news.
He was a member of the Jana Sangh the Think Tank of what is in power today and one of the best lessons in life was to stay away from Would( Written Like this)/ Wood( Pronounced Like this)
The Would people are the worst speed breakers in the organisations/ families and Life.

So What is would:
WOULD- Sticking to describe past beliefs about the future. The Would Person in the team or the Organisation:
WOULD
W- Withholds Information
O- Outdated Systems follower
U-Undermines Talents and new approaches, Brings up unpleasant memories
L- Loves Ordinariness and Target less Approach
D- Defers Change and Important Decisions
The root of this is Childhood Trauma, Lack of Ambition and Generally an uninspiring environment when growing Up.
Now that we have some claps for winning the award and being in the list - I imparted the lesson of shifting from WOULD To SHOULD to a motley group of fighter pilots raring to showcase their skills on mint condition and shiny Combat Helicopters overcoming WOULD In favour of SHOULD.
The Merciful Good God is Kind and the night is still young for a OLD RAG Like me but I am cut from the same cloth of people who believed in the Journalism Of Courage and were not afraid even of the Emergency and the Central Characters in that.
Only thing: Had I had the pleasure of reading this on a freshly minted Indian Express with my Morning Tea- It would have been EPIC.
