The Three People Who are advised to show "ANGER" mandatorily by the Scriptures.
Anger and its optimum dose
The sacred scriptures of India and the local ancient wisdom embedded in folklores have tremendous value.
The Scholar Chanakya advises that 3 classes of people should show Anger as a part of their Dharma( Duty) for the greater good of people dependent on them.
These are:
Teacher/ Guru- Towards Students and sometimes general in society to ensure that the student focuses, Does not get swayed by temptations and bad habits and in due course becomes a sterling member of the society who leads by example.
The Scholar advises that punishment should be certainly given for slackness and taking short cuts.
Father- Towards his children occasionally so that they become good honest citizens and also responsible ones that take care of their families and also take care of their civic duties and social obligations.
The King/ Ruler- Towards his subjects and citizens so that they remember their duty towards the country and that the atomosphere is that of co- operation, crime is under control and that the Nation is safe.
Miscreants have fear in causing or engineering mass mayhem.
The Scholar further advises that if these 3 people do not get angry at suitable / relevant occasions they are not doing their duty leading to bigger Sins/ problems.
He also says sometimes these 3 people have to act to look angry.
The Word to focus is" Suitable". This does not mean all the time or having a set persona.
Duty should be done when necessary and this takes precedence over general popular opinion. For Greater good one must sometimes becomes "BAD" or " TOUGH" in the eyes of others.
What most of the Scripture do not specify is the DOSE of anger. The Dose is the quantity and as well as the desired end result of anger.
What DOES Anger do in the Right DOSE( DOES- DOSE)
D: Decorum, Discipline, Decision Making
O: Overall management, administration and environment
S: Skill, Safety, Security
E: Education, Ethical approach especially in conflict and confrontational situations.
So being angry is required so that one may not go astray or even all over the place.
This provides safety to the loved ones and subjects if " DEPLOYED" in the correct manner and keeps them away from Harm.
A couple of days back I was taking a session wherein I asked how many holes are in the Body?
An eager enthusiastic person said "8". Instead of being angry I got a brainwave of performing an exercise that will give those brain muscles some good workout.
So in actuality there are 9 holes in the body corresponding to their 9 powers and 9 planetary energies.
My question and you do not have to answer it here:
If you had the option of having 8 holes which extra hole will you sacrifice.? Think of it.. It will be beneficial.

God Gave us 2 Eyes, 2 Ears and only 1 mouth so that we listen more, process intelligently and speak less and only when its worthwhile.. Isn't it?
